The Holy Spirit has done incredible things at our new location! From the purchase of our building on December 30, 2015, to our Grand Opening on May 22, 2016, we had over 100 volunteers assist with renovations to create a beautiful space for our clients! During this first year of being located next to the local abortion facility, the Columbus Women’s Health Organization, we have had 28 women - that we know of - choose life!

For each of these 28 women, our location next door to the abortion facility was crucial in sharing the message of life, hope and love. Each of these women had already made an appointment to abort their child. On-site intervention by Seneca’s advocates empowered each of them to confidently say no to abortion.

We have had the honor of helping our clients this year in many ways. We have outsourced for free ultrasounds, offered free pregnancy testing and provided client advocacy. We have coordinated GED tutoring, housing and medical care, and child care. We have supplied baby items, furniture, maternity and professional clothing. We have also assisted with resume writing, job placement, post-abortive healing, and overall familial support!

Our team has been blessed to meet seven of the sweet little ones whose lives were saved through God’s amazing grace. We look forward to meeting more of these beautiful children as their due dates near!

The year 2017 will bring great new opportunities to serve families experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. The local Knights of Columbus have graciously taken on raising funds for a brand new ultrasound machine that can meet the current medical requirements expected of pregnancy resources centers. We cannot wait to show women their baby's first picture!

Seneca will be starting its women’s empowerment support group called Made Whole in March. Made Whole provides women experiencing a difficult season in their life find a safe place where they are embraced, encouraged and empowered by women of faith who truly believe in and care for them.

We look forward to furthering our mission by releasing our abstinence education program, increasing the hours that we're open, and expanding our volunteer base! We are excited to serve more families in 2017, see more women choose life, and continue to change the culture toward embracing life in the Chattahoochee Valley!
